And it wouldn’t be a Goodwood motorsport event without a huge contingent of touring car racers, past and present, strutting their stuff around the Motor Circuit. In all, Anthony Reid, Gordon Shedden, Jake Hill, Matt Neal, Steve Soper, Tiff Needell, Rob Huff, Andy Priaulx and Tom Ingram provide a banquet of 197 British Touring Car Championship race wins between them.

I raced a MKII Ford Capri 3.0S in the Gordon Spice Trophy at Goodwood's 82nd Members Meeting. Unfortunately we had problems with the car and results were disappointing.

I caught up with my “greatest competitor” Tom Kristensen at Goodwood 82MM last weekend. We have been fierce competitors since 1992 in Japanese F3, Japanese Touring Cars, then BTCC and Le Mans and still racing each other at Goodwood to this day.
It is the 82nd Members Meeting at Goodwood this weekend, 12th - 13th April 2025, I am racing. here are a few photos from Saturday bringing back great memories.

The first image is my cousin's grandchildren standing below the list of house shield winners since 2014; the second image is lining up ready for the Win Percy Trophy; the third image is of the Toyota Celica as raced by Mike Wilds, Martin Brundle and Alec Poole (my boss at Nissan) in period; and the fourth image is a previous Swift Mini I have raced at Goodwood which still has my name on it.
